 es\, and patriotic celebrations leading up to July 4th. Residents are invi
 ted to take part in a variety of events that honor America's past\, celebr
 ate our community today\, and leave something meaningful for future genera
 tions.\n\nNew Orleans Square Block Party Kickoff\nThe celebration begins w
 ith a community block party on June 26–27 at New Orleans Square featurin
 g family-friendly activities\, entertainment\, and opportunities to celebr
 ate America’s 250th birthday together. Both nights will be capped off wi
 th an amazing fireworks display!\n\nTime Capsule Ceremony\nCity officials 
 and staff will gather on June 30 to bury a 25-year time capsule at Veteran
 s Park on Main Street. The capsule will preserve memories\, milestones\, a
 nd pieces of today’s history for future generations to discover. Check b
 ack for more details.\n\nTuesdays in the Park on June 30\nJoin fellow Brok
 en Arrowans for the fifth and final Tuesdays in the Park concert in Centra
 l Park for an amazing evening of festive music followed by 250 seconds of 
 fireworks.\n\nVeteran Banners in the Rose District\nThe banners honoring v
 eterans that are displayed on the street light poles in the Rose District 
 will proudly hang through July 4. These brave men and women are the reason
  we get to celebrate 250 years of independence and freedom. Take a stroll 
 through downtown Broken Arrow to check out the banners.\n\nCity Proclamati
 on\nA proclamation recognizing America’s 250th Birthday celebration will
  be presented during the June 15 City Council meeting.
