DESCRIPTION:The Andy Payne Rt 66 Half Marathon & 5K Run honors Cherokee Nat
 ion citizen Andy Payne\, who won the International Trans-Continental Footr
 ace\, commonly referred to at the Bunion Derby\, in 1928. The race covered
  a total of 3\,423 miles along Route 66 from Los Angeles to New York City.
 \n\nThis year’s race will start at the Andy Payne Memorial Park in Foyil
  and end at the Claremore Museum of History. The Awards Ceremony at the MO
 H will be a fun-filled event with free massages for runners\, nutritious d
 rinks\, food trucks\, selfie spots\, popcorn\, snacks and more!\n\nVisitor
 s can view the Andy Payne Exhibit inside and take a photo with the Andy Pa
 yne statue in our new Legacy Gardens. Thank you for joining us at the Andy
