Lilac Festival

Join us for the Lilac Festival, packed with children's activities, Cherokee culture, and artisans!

Entertainment:
* Music by New Skool DJ Productions: 6 PM - 9 PM
* Line-dancing with Leslie Cohen: 7 PM - 8 PM

Highlights:
* Native American Ribbon Skirt Fashion Show: The Ribbon Skirt represents indigenous female status. Many skirts modeled will be from pre-festival sewing classes sponsored by the Cherokee Arts Program.

Children's Activities (East end of the street):
* Arts & Crafts
* Rock painting for all ages (to add to our rock snakes!)
* Coloring contest with rodeo and native themes
* Sun-catcher crafting

Pie Auction:
* May 22, 6:30 PM - 6:45 PM
* Featuring local auctioneers and possibly "Aunt Eller"! Arrive early for a good spot and enjoy delicious made-from-scratch pies.

The combination of Boots on the Boulevard and the Lilac Festival promises a memorable experience for all ages!
